Bio

Gabrielle is an Australian-British writer, director, actor and poet. Training: BA (hons) Acting, MA Scriptwriting (both from Bath Spa University).

 

Her acting career has covered stage, screen, and audio, and she is an alto singer.

 

Passionate about comedy, period drama, and rhymes, Gabrielle has written for theatre, film, TV, web-series and audio. She has adapted novels into scripts, and written in collaboration with other writers and production companies; writing for Greedy Pig Theatre Company, Gabrielle's play 'Be.' received funding from Arts Council England. Gabrielle was longlisted for Bristol Old Vic's Five Year Commitment scheme (2024) and was a quarter-finalist in the Female Pilot's Club 2025 script call out. 

 

Gabrielle's directing work has been for stage and screen, including Vicky Wheeler's award-winning short 'Alive'.

In addition to Gabrielle's other work, she also has experience as a script supervisor, reader, and production assistant.
